Una vez sancionada la presente Ley, el Gobierno Nacional, por órgano del Ministerio de Guerra, procederá a levantar una investigación con el objeto de averiguar con la más minuciosa precisión posible qué ceses militares han sido pagados.

Parágrafo 1

Dicha investigación se hará principalmente en el Archivo Nacional, la Tesorería General de la República, la Corte de Cuentas, la Sección de Crédito Público del Ministerio del Tesoro y la de Contabilidad del de Guerra, y en general, en las oficinas nacionales pagadoras.

Parágrafo 2

Para tal investigación tendrá el Ministerio el término de un año desde la sanción de esta Ley y la llevará a cabo con el concurso del Procurador General de Hacienda.
