En caso fortuito o fuerza mayor, si uno de los integrantes no pudiere asistir a las sesiones de los Tribunales, éste será reemplazado por otro profesional que hubiere hecho parte de la lista de aspirantes a integrarlo y que no hubiere sido escogido; o en su defecto solicitar a la Federación Médica Colombiana, a la Academia Nacional de Medicina y a las facultades de medicina en envío de una nueva lista.
