Artículo octavo. No obstante lo dispuesto en el artículo anterior, los médicos y odontólogos a que se refiere el artículo 1o. tienen derecho a percibir retroactivamente la diferencia entre la remuneración que les correspondía y la fijada para sus empleos en el presente estatuto. La liquidación del pago retroactivo se hará de acuerdo con el procedimiento establecido en el Decreto 1042 de 1978.
