Sostenibilidad. Las comunidades energéticas deberán considerar modelos de sostenibilidad en cuanto, a la inversión, mantenimiento y operación del sistema de generación, uso eficiente de la energía y demás costos en que deba incurrir dicha comunidad; así como parámetros ambientales y sociales para garantizar la sostenibilidad. Para dicho efecto, la Comunidad Energética podrá solicitar el apoyo y acompañamiento del Ministerio de Minas y Energía a que se refiere el artículo 2.2.10.2.4.
