Los guardacostas no permanecerán en los puertos a que pertenecen, sino el tiempo necesario, a juicio del Administrador de la Aduana, para hacer las reparaciones que el estado de los buques exija, y para proveerse de los recursos necesarios, y efectos que el personal necesite para la navegación. En los demás puertos del Lítoral no excederá su permanencia del término de veinticuatro horas.
