Art. 51. El Juez abrirá la audiencia, que será pública; él la presidirá y exigirá de los Jurados el siguiente juramento "Juraos por Dios y vuestro honor cumplir fielmente vuestros deberes ". Los Jurados responderán: " Sí juramos" El Juez añadirá: "Si así lo hiciereis, Dios os premie; y si no, os lo demande".
