EDECANES ESPECIALES. Los Oficiales de la Policía Nacional en servicio activo, cuando sean nombrados edecanes especiales, tendrán derecho a percibir una partida especial de gastos de representación mientras desempeñen sus funciones como tales, partida que será fijada por el Director General de la Policía Nacional. Para efectos de este artículo son edecanes especiales los Oficiales de la Policía Nacional en servicio activo designados transitoriamente para acompañar y asistir a personalidades civiles, militares, eclesiásticas o de Policía, nacionales o extranjeras, que requieran esta distinción.
