(transitorio) Las personas que con anterioridad al treinta de diciembre de mil novecientos cuarenta y cuatro hayan celebrado contratos de concesión sobre minas de la reserva nacional podrán, por los motivos contemplados en el artículo 3º de la Ley 54 de 1944, solicitar del Ministerio de Minas y Petróleos la ampliación o prórroga prudencial de los períodos de exploración y montaje pactados en ellos o presentar renuncia de dichos contratos.
