Art. 16.º Los militares que se hubieren inutilizado por completo, en función del servicio, pero no en combate ni á manos de enemigos armados del Gobierno, ó que en el mismo servicio hayan contraído alguna enfermedad de las declaradas incurables, tendrán derecho a una recompensa unitaria definitiva, é igual á las dos terceras partes de la suma señalada para los que hayan sido inutilizados absolutamente en acción de guerra.
