Medios e instrumentos ambientales. Los medios e instrumentos para establecer y vigilar las labores mineras por el aspecto ambiental, son los establecidos por la normatividad ambiental vigente para cada etapa o fase de las mismas, a saber, entre otros: Planes de Manejo Ambiental, Estudio de Impacto Ambiental, Licencia Ambiental, permisos o concesiones para la utilización de recursos naturales renovables, Guías Ambientales y autorizaciones en los casos en que tales instrumentos sean exigibles.
