SANCIÓN A LAS AUTORIDADES POR NO PRESTAR APOYO Y GARANTÍA A LOS FUNCIONARIOS ENCARGADOS DEL CONTROL Y FISCALIZACIÓN DEL IMPUESTO DE TIMBRE. Los gobernadores de los departamentos, los intendente, los comisarios y alcaldes que no presten apoyo a los funcionarios encargados del control y fiscalización del impuesto de timbre serán sancionados con multa de 1.5 a 7 UVT, impuesta por el superior jerárquico del infractor. Nota: Valores Ajustados en UVT de conformidad con el artículo 868-1 del Estatuto Tributario, adicionado por el artículo 51 de la ley 1111 de 2006.
