Artículo sexto. La Junta del Instituto Caro y Cuervo ejercerá en el Centro Andrés Bello las mismas funciones señaladas por el Decreto 1993 de 1954, artículos 8° y 9°. La Junta podrá delegar tales funciones, en todo o en parte, y por el tiempo que estime conveniente, en el Consejo del Centro Andrés Bello, de que trata el artículo 21 del presente Estatuto.

Parágrafo

Al tenor del artículo 17 del Acuerdo de Cooperación entre el Instituto Caro y Cuervo y el Consejo de la Organización de los Estados Americanos, éste podrá designar un representante en la Junta del Instituto para que participe en sus deliberaciones cuando en ellas se traten asuntos relacionados con las actividades que son materia de dicho Acuerdo.
