Defensor de oficio. El cargo de defensor de oficio es de forzosa aceptación. En consecuencia, el designado está obligado a aceptarlo y desempeñarlo. Sólo podrá excusarse por enfermedad grave o habitual, ser empleado público, ser mayor de sesenta años o menor de dieciocho, o tener a su cargo tres o más defensas de oficio.
