Los Gerentes o Directores de los establecimientos públicos, en caso de irregularidad en el manejo presupuestal, deberán solicitar al Ministerio de Hacienda y Crédito Público o al Director General del Presupuesto, la práctica de visitas de inspección presupuestal, independientemente de la acción penal a que den lugar tales irregularidades.
