La aplicación de este Decreto será sucesiva, de año en año, hasta implantar la totalidad de los planes de estudio que revé, tomando como inicial el correspondiente al primer año de estudio del ciclo básico de la Enseñanza Media Comercial. En el sector sur-occidental empezará a aplicarse en el año escolar que se inicia el 1º de octubre de 1962. En el sector centro-oriental, en el que se inicia el 1º de febrero de 1963.
