La prescripción médica será de exclusividad del médico veterinario y del médico veterinario zootecnista y las recomendaciones zootécnicas del médico veterinario zootecnista y del zootecnista. En cualquier caso se harán por escrito, en formato especial y de conformidad a las normas vigentes.
