Procedimiento especial por ineficiencia profesional. El educador que muestre serias deficiencias en la transmisión de los conocimientos de su especialidad, o en el ejercicio de las funciones y responsabilidades inherentes al cargo estará sometido a las sanciones previstas en el artículo 49 del Decreto 2277 de 1979, las que sólo podrán ser aplicadas en forma progresiva, previa amonestación escrita de la entidad nominadora.
