Corresponde al Ministerio de Cultura formular, coordinar, ejecutar y vigilar la política del Estado en materia cultural y de las economías creativas, de manera coherente con los principios fundamentales y de participación contemplados en la Constitución Política y en la ley, así como formular y adoptar políticas, planes generales, programas y proyectos del Sector Administrativo a su cargo.
