Mientras se lleva a cabo el traslado de la Biblioteca Nacional y sus dependencias al edificio actualmente en construcción, la Dirección del Archivo Nacional tendrá las mismas funciones señaladas por la Ley 57 de 1935, artículo y por el capítulo II, ARTÍCULOS 8º A 14 del Decreto número 2032 de 1936 (agosto 22), reglamentario de la citada Ley.
