Por regla general, las personas que prestan sus servicios en los establecimientos públicos adscritos al Ministerio de Defensa Nacional son empleados públicos. No obstante lo anterior, los estatutos de cada organismo precisarán las actividades que pueden ser desempeñadas por personas vinculadas mediante contrato de trabajo.
