Los licenciatarios de Primera categoría y de categoría Avanzada podrán realizar transmisiones y operar todas las bandas y segmentos asignados al servicio de radioaficionado, en todas las modalidades y tipos de emisión. Los licenciatarios de Primera categoría podrán operar con una potencia máxima de quinientos (500) vatios y los de categoría Avanzada con una potencia máxima de dos mil (2000) vatios de salida, medidos sobre carga fantasma, parámetros válidos para sistemas de HF.
