ARTICULO 18. Supresión de Empleos.- Dentro del término para llevar a cabo el proceso de reestructuración del Instituto de Seguros Sociales, el Consejo Directivo suprimirá los empleos o cargos vacantes y los desempeñados por funcionarios de la seguridad social o por trabajadores oficiales, cuando ellos no fueren necesarios en la respectiva planta de personal como consecuencia de dicha decisión.
