El estudio preliminar deberá contener, por lo menos: a)) Información general sobre el área del proyecto, que incluya, entre otros, la estratificación socioeconómica, la infraestructura de servicios públicos existente; b)) La descripción del proyecto, con indicación de la fuente y disponibilidad del gas para el área propuesta, la posible ruta del gasoducto, el potencial de usuarios que se atenderá; todo lo cual se acompañará de los planos respectivos levantados a escala 1:2.000, y c) La información detallado sobre la capacidad financiera del solicitante.
