Los Directores de las Escuelas de Cadetes "General Santander" y de Suboficiales "Gonzalo Jiménez de Quesada" podrán hacer adquisiciones, directamente con cargo al Presupuesto de tales Institutos, hasta por la cuantía de veinte mil pesos ($20.000). Para las adquisiciones superiores a la cuantía indicada anteriormente, se someterán al régimen de adquisiciones y contratos vigentes para la Policía Nacional.
