Los maestros deben tener en cuenta que para fomentar en los niños la afición a los estudios útiles y para utilizar los teóricos, es necesario que éstos se presenten a los alumnos en su aspecto práctico y adaptable a las necesidades de la sociedad y el tiempo en que vivimos, y a las necesidades personales de los mismos educandos. Procurarán, en consecuencia, explicar las lecciones por medio de ejemplos relativos a la Geografía, a la Historia y a las riquezas naturales de Colombia, así como a los hechos de la vida cotidiana. 3.ª Educación cívica
