El servicio de radiodifusión sonora está orientado a impulsar el desarrollo; político, económico y social del país, para elevar el nivel y la calidad de vida de sus habitantes, difundir e incrementar la cultura, la información y a afirmar los valores esenciales de la nacionalidad colombiana. Por tanto, todos los concesionarios tendrán la obligación de ajustar sus programas a los fines indicados difundiendo la verdad, procurando preservar la salud mental y física de la población y enalteciendo las tradiciones nacionales, la cohesión social, la paz, nacional y la cooperación internacional.
