Además de las funciones establecidas en el artículo 3º del Decreto 1621 de 2002, la Comisión Nacional Intersectorial para la Coordinación del Día de la Niñez y la Recreación tendrá a su cargo la responsabilidad de organizar el proceso de definición de lineamientos técnicos, inscripción, selección, traslado, formación previa y orientación del Día de los Niños, Niñas y Adolescentes Congresistas.
