REQUISITOS GENERALES PARA EL DESEMPEÑO DE CARGOS DE FUNCIONARIOS DE LA RAMA JUDICIAL. Para ejercer cargos de Magistrado de Tribunal, Juez de la República o Fiscal, se requieren las siguientes calidades y requisitos generales:

Ser colombiano de nacimiento y ciudadano en ejercicio y estar en pleno goce de sus derechos civiles;

Tener título de abogado expedido o revalidado conforme a ley, salvo el caso de los Jueces de Paz; y,

No estar incurso en causal de inhabilidad o incompatibilidad.
