El Presidente de la República no es reelegido en ningún caso para el período inmediato.
No podrá ser tampoco elegido Presidente de la República ni Designado el ciudadano que a cualquier título hubiere ejercido el Poder Ejecutivo dentro del año inmediatamente anterior a la elección.
