Con motivo de la solemnidad que se conmemora se reunirá en Santa Marta un congreso bolivariano de historia, cuya organización correrá a cargo de la Academia Nacional de Historia. Por el Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores se harán las invitaciones del caso a los países bolivarianos.
