° Son deberes del Secretario: 1.° Llevar el registro diario de asistencia de los Profesores y de los alumnos; 2.° Llevar la contabilidad del instituto y presentar mensualmente al Consejo Directivo la copia de la cuenta correspondiente á cada mes, y al fin del año rendir la cuenta general al mismo Consejo; 3.° Hacer efectivos los pagos periódicos á cargo de los alumnos pensionistas; 4.° Llevar la correspondencia que le ordene el Director, y 5.° Desempeñar las funciones de Secretario del Consejo Directivo.
