Para efectos de este Decreto se entenderá por Corredor de Contratos de Fletamento Marítimo, la persona natural o jurídica, que por su especial conocimiento del mercado marítimo, asesora a título de intermediario al transportador marítimo de una parte, y al fletador de otra, sin estar vinculado a las partes por relaciones de colaboración, dependencia, mandato o representación.
