Art. 6.º Las atribuciones, jurisdicción y competencia del Tribunal Superior del Distrito Judicial de Panamá, las del Juez Superior, las de los Jueces de Circuito y de los Jueces municipales serán, respectivamente, las mismas que las leyes reconocen y han dado á las entidades que llevan los mismos nombres en los demás Departamentos de la República.
