AUTORIDAD POLITICA: Es la que ejerce el alcalde como jefe del municipio. Del mismo modo, los secretarios de la alcaldía y jefes de departamento administrativo, como miembros del gobierno municipal, ejercen con el alcalde la autoridad política.

Tal autoridad también se predica de quienes ejerzan temporalmente los cargos señalados en este artículo.
