Las Procuradurías de Distrito Judicial se denominarán Procuradurías Regionales y tendrán su sede en las capitales de Departamento y en las demás ciudades que señale el Procurador General. El Procurador General fijará la jurisdicción territorial de estas Procuradurías sin necesaria sujeción a la división administrativa o judicial del país. Señalará también la sede y la jurisdicción territorial de las Oficinas Seccionales y las adscribirá a las Procuradurías Regionales, según lo estime conveniente. Parágrafo. Las referencias a las Procuradurías y Procuradores de Distrito Judicial que se encuentren en la legislación vigente, se entenderán hechas en adelante a las Procuradurías y Procuradores Regionales.
