El contribuyente acreditará la actividad o actividades agropecuarias a que está destinado el predio rural mediante relaciones que presente con su declaración de renta y patrimonio. Para verificar la veracidad de tales pruebas, la Dirección General de Impuestos Nacionales podrá solicitar certificaciones a los organismos competentes del sector agropecuario que señale el Gobierno. Si de dichas certificaciones se concluye claramente, con audiencia del contribuyente, que éste ha incurrido en afirmaciones falsas, la Administración de Impuestos le impondrá las sanciones previstas en la ley.
