Campo de aplicación. El presente Capítulo aplica a las personas naturales y/o jurídicas que vendan y compren al menudeo ácidos, álcalis o sustancias similares o corrosivas que generen daño o destrucción al entrar en contacto con el tejido humano, en el territorio nacional; así como a las Entidades Administradoras de Planes de Beneficio (EAPB), las Instituciones Prestadoras de Servicios de Salud, las entidades territoriales, las entidades públicas responsables de la atención integral para las víctimas de ataques con estas sustancias, y las encargadas de ejercer funciones de inspección, vigilancia y control.
