Los clubes, las ligas y la Federación de Tejo deberán registrar ante el Instituto Colombiano del Deporte la totalidad de los inscritos en sus registros. Estos tendrán los mismos derechos de los deportistas afiliados en los demás clubes, ligas deportivas, además de lo anterior propenderá por hacer de esta disciplina parte de la imagen de Colombia en el exterior no solo como deporte, sino símbolo cultural y patrimonio de la Nación.
