Prioridad De La Condición Médica Del Sujeto Fuente

Ley 2287 de 2023 · Por medio de la cual se crea el Sistema Nacional de Biobancos y se regula el funcionamiento de los biobancos con fines de investigación biomédica biotecnológica y epidemiológica y se dictan otras disposiciones.

Cuando las muestras sean tomadas en el contexto de un procedimiento diagnóstico, terapéutico o con otra finalidad médica, prima este proceso sobre la preservación de muestras con fines de investigación biomédica, biotecnológica o epidemiológica.

Los profesionales responsables del procedimiento diagnóstico o terapéutico son los encargados de la separación de las muestras y podrán dejar una parte para el biobanco, la colección o proyecto de investigación concreto, previo consentimiento del sujeto fuente y cumplimiento de esta ley.
