El artículo 546 del Código Civil quedará así: Cuando el hijo sufra de incapacidad mental grave permanente, deberán sus padres, o uno de ellos, promover el proceso de interdicción, un año antes de cumplir aquel la mayor edad, para que la curaduria produzca efectos a partir de ésta y seguir cuidando del hijo aún después del designado curador.
