Etapa de prospectación. La etapa de prospectación en las empresas industriales de transformación, de hotelería y de minería, está comprendida entre la iniciación de la empresa y la fecha en que primero ocurra uno de los siguientes hechos

Adquisición de terrenos o edificios, entendiendo por tal la fecha de la escritura correspondiente;

Adquisición de los activos fijos de producción, tales como maquinaria, entendiendo por tal su entrega;

Iniciación de la construcción de obras civiles o edificios. (Artículo 2°, Decreto 4123 de 2005)
