Con el objeto de garantizar el derecho a la información del consumidor, el Registro Único Nacional de Tránsito publicará anualmente, en su página web, un registro consolidado a partir de la información consignada en el Registro Nacional de Automotores y en el Registro Nacional de Accidentes de Tránsito, de los vehículos que estuvieron involucrados en un siniestro de tránsito con resultado de muerte o lesión que contenga la marca, modelo y tipo de vehículo, así como la edad del parque automotor inscrito en el sistema. El Ministerio de Transporte deberá garantizar que el Sistema RUNT emita la información gratuitamente.
