Artículo sexto. La autoridad que dispusiere el pago de asignación básica, contraviniendo las prescripciones del presente Decreto, será responsable de los valores indebidamente pagados y estará sujeto a las sanciones fiscales administrativas, penales y civiles previstas en la ley. La Contraloría General de la República velará por el cumplimiento de esta disposición.
