Indemnización por muerte. A la muerte de un Alumno de la Escuela de formación de Oficiales y Suboficiales, en actividad relacionada con su preparación profesional o del servicio, sus beneficiarios en el orden determinado en el artículo 143 del presente Estatuto tendrán derecho a que por el Tesoro Público se les pague una indemnización igual a doce (12) meses del sueldo básico correspondiente. Si la muerte ocurriere en actos extraordinarios o meritorios del servicio, o en mantenimiento del orden público, la indemnización se pagará doble.
