El Tribunal Nacional de Ética de Entrenamiento Deportivo buscará la verdad material. Para ello deberá, investigar con igual rigor los hechos y circunstancias que demuestren la existencia de la falta disciplinaria y la responsabilidad del investigado, y los que tiendan a demostrar su inexistencia o lo eximan de responsabilidad. Para tal efecto, el Tribunal Nacional de Ética de Entrenamiento Deportivo podrá decretar pruebas de oficio.
