Se atribuye a nivel nacional la frecuencia 4125 kHz para el servicio auxiliar de ayuda del servicio móvil marítimo. La frecuencia portadora de 4125 kHz puede ser utilizada por estaciones de aeronave para comunicarse con estaciones del servicio móvil marítimo con fines de socorro y seguridad, incluyendo las operaciones de búsqueda y salvamento.
