Este Consejo se formará de los Ministros de Hacienda, Industrias, Obras Públicas y Relaciones Exteriores, de los Gerentes del Banco de República, del Agrícola Hipotecario y de la Federación Nacional de Cafeteros, del Presidente de la Sociedad de Agricultores, y del de la Cámara de Comercio de Bogotá, del Presidente de la Federación Nacional de Industriales y Productores, así como del Jefe de la Estadística Nacional.

El Consejo de la Economía Nacional será presidido por el Presidente de la República o por el Ministro que él designe.
