Además del lleno de los requisitos de carácter sanitario y demás condiciones a que se refiere el presente Decreto, la localización o ubicación de los mataderos requiere aprobación de la oficina correspondiente en cada localidad, de acuerdo con las normas sobre zonificación existente. Dicha aprobación se tendrá en cuenta siempre que no contravenga las disposiciones de la Ley 09 de 1979 y sus reglamentaciones.
