La Nación se asocia a la celebración del sexagésimo aniversario de la fundación del Municipio de Sevilla, Departamento del Valle del Cauca, que se cumplió el tres (3) de mayo de 1963; reconoce el esfuerzo de sus habitantes por realizar obras de progreso durante la etapa de tranquilidad que vivió hasta el año de 1948, y relieva la voluntad de la ciudadanía sevillana para superar las ingentes dificultades que afronta ahora por causa de la violencia.
