Consulta de beneficiarios. Los operadores del servicio público de telefonía fija y móvil celular e internet fija y móvil y televisión por cable, al momento de recibir una solicitud para contratar un nuevo plan con tarifa diferencial con descuento en virtud de este beneficio, podrán consultar y verificar por los medios que defina el Ministerio de Defensa Nacional si el beneficiario de la Ley 1699 de 2013, cumple con las condiciones para recibir y mantener el beneficio.
